I’m Dawn, the voice behind Daprayer.com.

I am a dreamer, a peace lover and an introvert with a busy mind. But most of all, I’m a modern mama who seeks to live life beautifully while #LearningParenting and #LearningGrace.

I started Daprayer.com in 2014 to document my pregnancy and subsequently, about my life as a working mom who endeavours to balance and find beauty in family, work, passions and still taking time to smell the roses.

I work as a HR manager by day, resume mama duties in the evening and put on my mom blogger hat at night. During the weekends, I take on mama duties full-time,  practice and create hand lettering artworks and is the resident photographer of our precious family moments and Laurent’s OOTDs.

I hope that the blog can offer some ideas, inspiration and encouragement to modern mama, to create beautiful memories, build beautiful relationships and be the most beautiful versions of themselves, inside and out.

I reside in sunny Singapore with my husband, Wayne, and my little boy, Laurent.

Many of the posts are child and family-related, where I share about Laurent’s development, family-friendly activities, products and services which we reviewed and found to be useful. I also try to share tips and ideas to help mamas feel inspired, save time, be more beautiful (inside & out), and enjoy life’s beautiful moments.

But in most instances, beauty is a state of mind and how we see positivity in every situation. You will find heartfelt posts on my journey of faith and parenthood where I’m constantly #LearningParenting and #LearningGrace, and I pour my heart out to share these lessons with you. 

We love the occasional indulgences when it comes to food, fashion and travel and I have a new-found passion of hand-lettering and calligraphy so you can find many posts on these topics as well.

Wayne’s mildly OCD behavior also inspires me to post about home organisation topics. Our humble home was featured on Qanvast’s blog and I’ve posted a series of blog posts to bring you around the different parts of our home to show you how we plan and style our spaces.
