Kids World Parenting Fair 2018
Last weekend, we spent a full day at the Kids World Parenting Fair which was happening between 10-12 August 2018 at Suntec Convention Centre.
The fair, which had a kids section and a baby section, came just at the right time for me! I was exploring a weekend class for Laurent since he has been showing interest in areas like sports and music. I was also shopping around for some baby stuff since my EDD is less than 4 months away 🙂
Wayne was working so I was there with Laurent and some mummy pals for the media tour. When we went to some other fairs in the past, Laurent quickly got bored and cranky because there were lots of people, noise and most importantly, there were nothing to engage or entertain him while we rush from one booth to another.
The Kids World Fair was well-organised and kept the whole family in mind. From trial classes to workshops, character appearances to stage performances and not to mentioned, lots of awesome deals available and yummy samples to try! I’ve documented most of our activities that day on my Instagram Stories, but let me briefly walk you guys through some of the fun things we did that day.
Trial Classes & Workshops
Many exhibitors prepared trial classes and workshops for both parents and child. Laurent tried a few of the classes and he had so much fun, I was really tempted to sign him up for all of them!
Booth Games & Interactions
Many of the booths also had games, toys, displays and mascots to engage the little ones and that was really awesome because parents to spend a longer time at the booth to check out the products/ services wile the kids are kept engaged and not tugging for us to move along!
Stage Performances
There were games, character appearances and performances at the main stage almost every hour (the little ones get to enjoy the activities while tired daddies – or mummies – can take a seat to rest their sore legs).
Fun Games & Activities
There were also lots of fun games and activities available for the young ones (and the young at heart) by vendors such as Diggersite and JRKids – yup, building and digging fun as well as carnival games and rides right at the fair!
Food Samples and Great Deals
Yummy samples are always a hit with the little ones and those little snacking here and there really helps to keep them moving from one booth to another with much enthusiasm! You could also find some really awesome deals at the fair for great products, classes, trials, services and annual packages to Kidzania and Legoland Malaysia.
You can check out more behind the scenes on my IG Stories (under highlights – KidsWorld Fair), but honestly, this will be a fair that I would bring the kids just to have some fun even if I didn’t have anything that I needed to get in particular! Thanks again for hosting us, Kids World Fair!
