[Media Invite] Pororo Park Singapore
Just before we left for our Paris trip, we had a playdate with Ashlyn, Emma and many other parent bloggers and their little ones at Pororo Park Singapore for its Family Fun Day. It was our first time there and we had so much fun, we are definitely going back for more! If you are looking for some fun activities for your children this school holidays, I would highly recommend that you check out Pororo Park Singapore!
Pororo Park Singapore is the first edutainment program and indoor playland in South-East Asia featuring the adorable Pororo & Friends. With 100 square feet of exciting play areas and fun activities, Pororo Park promises HOURS of fun! It is also conveniently located at Marina Square which makes the deal even sweeter.
Here are some of the highlights and fun activities that charmed our socks off at Pororo Park (speaking of socks, remember to bring yours when you’re heading there)!
Pororo Express
This has got to be one of Pororo Park Singapore’s MAJOR highlight. Laurent is currently at the stage of being obsessed with “choo choo train” and you can imagine his excitement when he caught sight of the Pororo Express the moment he set foot into Pororo Park!
The Pororo Express operates on a schedule and there is usually a queue for it during the weekend. So if your child is as train-obsessed as Laurent, make sure to check out the schedule first so that you won’t have to miss it a single time!
Tong Tong’s Little Theatre
In between play, the children can gather at Tong Tong’s Little Theatre for various exciting programs happening at different time slots through out the day. We popped in for a mini musical by Pororo and friends which got all the kids up on their feet, dancing, singing and squealing with joy! Laurent also participated in an activity where the children role-played about a dream where they were out at sea with all the sea creatures. It was so much fun for the kids and also for us parents who are watching!
You can check out the show schedule here but do note that it changes every month and can be changed without prior notice.
Pororo House
I can’t believe I forgot to take photos of the completely adorable Pororo House, I think I must have been too distracted by how cute it is! If I am a child, I can absolutely see hours and hours of fun pretend-play inside Pororo House with all the Pororo-sized furniture!
Crong’s Backyard
Next to Pororo House is Crong’s Backyard, an area filled with swings, slides and the likes for the children to have some fun, just like they are right outside at the backyard!
Shark Ball Pit
Take a photo while being immersed in the iconic blue and white ball pit and everyone will know that your little ones are having the time of their life at Pororo Park Singapore!
The Shark Ball Pit is HUGE and even with a large crowd, the children seemed to be able to find some private spaces for themselves to enjoy the ball pit. Unlike typical ball pits, children can actually practise their motor skills by aiming and throwing the balls at Shark’s mouth in the middle of the ball pit!
Poby’s Play Gym
I thought Laurent was a little too young to fully enjoy Poby’s Play Gym, but that didn’t stop him from wanting to explore the foamy play area. Daddy went along to keep a look out for him and the two of them had so much fun!
Loopy’s Cafe
There is a cafeteria serving drinks and pastries for tired parents (like me) who can’t keep up with their energiser bunnies. We let Laurent play at the mini gym adjacent to the cafe sitting area while we sip on a cup of comforting yuzu tea.
Special Activities
Pororo Park Singapore always some special activities which vary across the months. For the month of June, there is a Father’s Day workshop where little ones will be guided to make a cardbox car with daddy. How cool is that?! So if you mamas out there are still cracking your head over what to do on Father’s Day, you might want to bring your crew to Pororo Park Singapore for a fun-filled afternoon!
Admission, Membership and Promotions
The cost of 2-hour playtime at Pororo Park Singapore is as below. Don’t forget to utilise any of the cards from their partners to get a substantial discount off the admission rate! June 15, 2016 at 11:28 amLooks really fun! However I feel that the price is too ex for kids 3 and below. Being there and experiencing how it is like, do you concur with this? Or is it really worth the price? Please advice! 🙂

June 22, 2016 at 2:01 pmYes Vivien, it sure is fun! I do agree that it is a little pricey as there is a time limit of 2-hr and there are so much to do, the kids will definitely want to stay longer! I would suggest checking out their partners and if you have the relevant cards, you can get some substantial discounts 🙂 Or even their annual pass if the kids love the place that much!
