[Review & Giveaway] Bloom & Grow Catalogue Launch
If you have been following Daprayer Facebook Page, you would have already had first dips on the amazing products that I came across at the Bloom & Grow Catalogue Launch which I attended a few weeks back!
I had a wonderful afternoon at the catalogue launch, mingling with fellow mummy bloggers, hearing about the range of exciting new products and checking them out physically 🙂
Here are some of the wide range of products on display at the catalogue launch.
I was SO CLOSE to getting a Trunki for Laurent to bring along on our Aussie trip, but good thing I decided to let him try it out the other day because he is actually too short to sit on it comfortably! Guess it will continue to be on my wishlist for our next trip (whenever that is) 😐
At the end of the event, we were gifted a customised goodie hamper each and here are the lovely gifts that Laurent received from Bloom & Grow!
They couldn’t have come at a better time because some of the items like the Nuby Wash or Toss Snack Cups and Nuby Flip-It Cup were extremely useful for our Aussie trip!
And speaking of the Nuby Flip-It Cup, it now holds a really special place in my heart.
Because it is the first straw cup/ bottle that Laurent successfully managed to use! He has been using training cups since he started infant care and we have been trying to ‘upgrade’ him to straw cups on several occasions but he hasn’t been able to suck on the straw successfully.
I was just telling Wayne when we were planning for our Aussie trip that I really wish Laurent could start using straw cups soon so that we can bring a bottle along for the trip and he can have his water break more conveniently on the go.
Laurent held on to the Nuby cup when I was checking out our Bloom & Grow goodie hamper and didn’t really want to let go. So I thought we’ll let him have a shot at using the cup and we were so surprised when he actually managed to suck on the straw on his first try!
The contoured shape of the cup makes it easy for his little hands to hold on to it firmly without the need for bulky handles like other sippy cups. We could simply keep the bottle at the side pocket of our diaper bag for easy access . There is also a removeable sling which makes carrying the bottle easy and being able to remove it before washing the cup helps to keep the strap clean and dry.
Compared to another cup which we bought previously and recently took out to let him use again (after his success with the Nuby cup), Laurent was able to suck up the water much easily using the Nuby cup and he seemed to be having so much fun with drinking, we had to stop him before he finishes the entire bottle of water in one sitting!
Most importantly, I love that there is no spillage and leakage with the Nuby cups. I believe we have all had some unfortunate experiences with lousy bottles that leaks and spills no matter how tightly you close it. But so far, we have had no such issues with the Nuby cup (just try not to hold it upside down, of course) 🙂
We are so glad that Laurent has “levelled up” in time to use a straw cup/ bottle just before the trip, which made keeping him hydrated all day while on the move a lot more convenient. All thanks to the Nuby Flip-It Cup!
After seeing all these amazing products which Bloom & Grow is carrying, I’m sure you are very tempted to check them out yourselves too and even buy some of them. The lovely people at Bloom & Grow would like to give one of you a goodie hamper worth $150 too!
To take part in the give away, simply follow the steps below, good luck!
